Our mission is to empower families and students by ensuring their most basic needs are not barriers on their path to becoming contributing members of their community and pursuing their dreams.

While public education in Jamaica is available, it is not entirely free. Families are responsible for registration fees and other school-related expenses not covered by the government. Additionally, government assistance programs often fall short of meeting the basic needs of rural students.

 

As a result, many children face significant challenges, including lack of transportation, financial constraints, and limited access to nutritious meals.

BMP Momentum serves the community of Portland, Jamaica by partnering with rural schools like Shirley Castle Primary to identify critical needs and provide funding that makes a direct and meaningful impact on students and their families.
